Das Boot (Director’s Cut)

Autumn 1941: 43 young German sailors aboard U-96 enter the war against Britain. They seek adventure, respect and heroism. For them this voyage is for glory. For their captain (Jurgen Prochnow), a seasoned war veteran at the young age of 30, it is a mission against enemy destroyers in a blood-red sea that can devour a ship and it’s crew without leaving a trace.
Das Boot is an undersea epic journey into the joy, passion and horror of the life/death struggle of the men of U-96.
